The initiative was launched to resolve critical scalability issues stemming from a traditional, manual artwork approval workflow. The original process necessitated printing physical artwork and securing feedback through tedious, in-person, table-to-table reviews, resulting in excessive cycle times and high risk of version control errors.
Our approach began with comprehensive user research and Job-to-be-Done (JTBD) documentation to map the as-is journey, capture core pain points, and define expected outcomes. After validating technical feasibility and securing critical user buy-in via a rapid Proof-of-Concept (PoC), we implemented an Agile product development strategy with business-critical features prioritized for phased delivery.
The final system successfully automated the entire content lifecycle: from artwork request, designer upload, centralized online review with transparent feedback loops, multi-stakeholder approval, and secure digital publishing for final consumption by packaging and marketing teams.
